951 David Amoo

Biography

Winger Amoo signed on loan from Liverpool in February 2011 and played a support role for Nigel Pearson during the last two months of the season.  His high point came when he coolly slotted a late equaliser past City nemesis Paddy Kenny to secure a point at QPR.

London born Amoo joined Liverpool at 16 after a youth development career at Millwall.  He played once for the Liverpool first team in an early season Europa League qualifier, and also had loan spells at MK Dons, Hull City and Bury.  In 2012 he left Liverpool for Preston North End, beginning a journeyman career around the lower leagues in England and Scotland.

In June 2024 he ended his playing days and began work as a recruitment consultant in the technology industry based in London.
