He had a loan spell at Pickering Town at the end of the 2021/22 season, then had two loan spells at Boston United during the 2022/23 season where he made 19 appearances. In July 2023 he joined Doncaster Rovers on a season long loan, scoring one goal in 32 appearances.

In June 2024 Nixon left Hull City and signed a three year contract at Doncaster Rovers, his current club, working under former Tigers manager Grant McCann.

He had loan spells at Bridlington Town (April 2022), Marske United (November 2022) and York City (October to December 2023) before leaving the Tigers at the end of the 2023/24 season. In June 2024 he joined Scottish Championship side Livingston, he made 8 appearances before returning to England in February 2025 and signing for Boston United, making 6 appearances. He joined Spennymoor United on loan in July 2025 but made just 3 appearances before returning to Boston in January 2026, then immediately joined Bridlington Town on loan for the rest of the 2025/26 season.

In June 2026 Green joined his current club North Ferriby FC.

In August 2021 he began the first of two loan spells at Boston United during the 2021/22 season, making 8 appearances in total. In February 2023 he joined Scunthorpe United on loan and scored one goal (against Wealdstone) in 16 appearances. In August 2023 he began a season-long loan at Tranmere Rovers where he made just 8 appearances. In January 2025 he was loaned to Oldham Athletic and made 16 appearances during the remainder of the season. In June 2025 he left the Tigers and joined Oldham Athletic on a permanent deal, scoring two goals in 12 appearances during the 2025/26 season.

Leake currently plays for Colchester United, a club he joined in July 2026.

Midfielder Hanson had been a junior at his hometown club Dover Athletic and, from 2014, Crystal Palace prior to joining the Tigers in July 2019. He returned to Dover Athletic on loan in November 2020, joining them for good in July 2021 before moving to Torquay United in July 2022. After two seasons in Devon he joined Tonbridge Angels in February 2024 and had a loan spell at Dover Athletic between March and May 2025. He returned once again to Dover Athletic in July 2025 and spent one season back on the Kent coast.

In June 2026 Ryan signed for his current club, National League South side Maidstone United - he quickly became the Stones' vice-captain and scored two goals in his first five starts.

Midfielder Bonds had already played for Dagenham & Redbridge, had a loan spell at Farnborough and made his senior international debut for Guyana (against French Guiana in November 2018) when he joined Hull City in August 2019. He won his seventh Guyana cap while on City’s books before joining Cheltenham Town on a season long loan in August 2020 – the loan was terminated early after 8 appearances when he suffered a knee injury. In June 2021 he left the Tigers and returned to Cheltenham on a permanent deal, scoring five goals in 106 appearances during three seasons. In June 2024 he moved to Fleetwood Town, scoring two goals in 85 appearances in two seasons. By March 2026 he had won 25 caps for Guyana.

In July 2026 Elliot joined his current club Salford City, making his debut in August 2026 against Shrewsbury Town.

Shropshire born goalkeeper who came through the academy at Shrewsbury Town, he played for England’s Under-16 and Under-17 sides during 2012 and had six work experience loans with non-league clubs between 2013 and 2017. He joined Hull City in July 2017, in November 2017 he had a one month loan at Salford City, making 3 appearances. He remained with the Tigers for the 2018/19 season, spending the first half of the season on loan at Chesterfield where he made 19 appearances. In June 2019 he joined Cambridge United, in two seasons at Abbey Stadium he made 50 appearances. In June 2021 he joined Plymouth Argyle and in three seasons he added 32 appearances.

Callum currently plays for Championship side Wrexham, a club he joined in July 2024, where he has featured mostly on the bench.

He signed his first professional contract for the Toffees in July 2015 and made his only senior appearance for Everton in an August 2016 EFL Trophy tie, shortly before enjoying a loan spell at Crewe Alexandra. He joined the Tigers in July 2017 but left a year later to join Witton Albion. He switched to City of Liverpool FC in July 2020, leaving the club a year later.

Released by Hull City in September 2020, he joined Whitby Town but a serious knee injury sustained in October 2021 sidelined him for over a year. He returned to action for Whitby Town in March 2023 and later that year he had loan spells at Hebburn Town and Redcar Athletic. He left Whitby in February 2024 and joined Ashington AFC in June 2024, moving two months later to West Auckland Town. He appeared to give up football shortly after that transfer.

In January 2020 he left the Tigers and joined Lincoln City but by September 2020 he had signed for Pickering Town while also coaching in the Hull City academy. In July 2021 gave up playing and became a goalkeeper coach at the Lincoln City academy. Between November 2022 and March 2026 he performed the same academy role at Blackburn Rovers. In March 2026 he was appointed professional development phase goalkeeping coach at Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

In January 2017 he joined Accrington Stanley on loan and got his first taste of first team football. In July 2017 he left the Tigers and joined Fleetwood Town but after just 5 appearances he signed for Accrington Stanley in January 2018. Used irregularly during the next season and a half, he had a loan at Hartlepool United in December 2018 making 6 appearances. During the 2020/21 season he became a Stanley first team regular and by the end of the 2022/23 season he had scored seven goals in 148 appearances for Stanley across his two spells.

In June 2023 Harvey joined League Two side Grimsby Town where he now plays - he reached 150 appearances for the Mariners in May 2026.

Goalkeeper who joined Hull City’s academy at thirteen and progressed to sign a professional contract in June 2014. He spent two and a half seasons on the Tigers’ first team roster, spending time on loan at Gainsborough Trinity, Scunthorpe United and North Ferriby United. In January 2017 he transferred to Scunthorpe United and spent the rest of the 2016/17 season back at North Ferriby United. He made his senior debut for the Iron in an August 2017 Football League Trophy tie against Sunderland and in May 2018 he played in both legs of the League One play-off semi-final against Rotherham United, which the Millers won 4-2 on aggregate. By May 2022 he had made 102 appearances for The Iron. He spent the 2022/23 season at Wrexham then moved to York City in August 2023 where he made 14 appearances in two seasons - he spent most of the 2025/26 season on loan at Scunthorpe United and Darlington.

In June 2026 Watson joined National League side Harrogate Town, making his debut against Gateshead in August 2026.

Australian born striker who had spent time at Sunderland, Oxford United, Sheffield Wednesday and Cambridge United during his late teens – he played for Australia’s Under-20 and Under-23 sides during 2010 and 2011. He joined Hull City in September 2013 and moved on in June 2014. After a year without a club he returned to Australia in January 2016, spending the 2016 season at Central Coast Mariners and the 2017 season at Manly United, though he made few first team appearances for either club. After another hiatus he joined Green Gully in January 2019 and served the club for four years until retiring in February 2023.

When Carson joined Hull City on a month’s loan in January 2012 he was a young goalkeeper starting out in his career, having joined Sunderland in 2004. The Northern Irishman had already enjoyed loans at Chesterfield, Lincoln City, Brentford and Bury prior to his time at Hull City. In February 2012 he returned to Bury, initially on loan then permanently from May 2012 - he was first choice keeper for the Shakers in the 2012/13 season, then spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Portsmouth. He joined Cheltenham Town in June 2014, a year later in June 2015 he switched to Hartlepool United where he spent two seasons. In June 2017 he joined Motherwell and made 78 appearances in four seasons at Fir Park – he made his senior international debut for Northern Ireland in March 2018, the first of eight caps over the next four years. He transferred to Dundee United in July 2021 but after only 5 appearances he joined Morecambe on loan in January 2022. Further seasons at St Mirren, Dundee and Ross County followed, in June 2026 he joined Queen of the South but a month later a chronic knee injury forced him to end a playing career that encompassed twenty two years and over 430 club appearances.

He left the Tigers in July 2012, over the next six seasons he served Hinckley United, Ilkeston Town, Lincoln United, Gresley Rovers and Leicester-based side St Andrews. In July 2018 he joined Melton Town, his home town club, where he combined playing duties with working at a local school. He served the Porkpie Army for several years, rising from first team player to first team coach in 2023 to first team manager in 2026.

Attacking midfielder who joined City’s academy at twelve years of age and signed a professional contract in May 2010. He stayed at Hull City for three seasons and saw first team action when loaned to Swedish side IK Frej and Derbyshire side Alfreton Town. In August 2013 Danny joined Northampton Town where he made 20 senior appearances and scored his only senior goal in a November 2013 FA Cup tie against Bishop’s Stortford. In March 2014 he returned north and signed for North Ferriby United – he served the Villagers for nine years either side of NFU’s demise and the rise of phoenix club North Ferriby FC until an injury ended his playing days at the end of 2023. In 2015 he started his second career as a building control officer at East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

In August 2015 he transferred to Bradford City and again served the Reserves before joining Bradford Park Avenue on a half season loan in November 2016, making 7 appearances. In August 2017 he moved to National League North side Harrogate Town, in five seasons he saw his side rise through the National League to League Two, making 31 appearances in that time - he made his Football League debut in September 2020 against Southend United. In August 2022 he joined Scarborough Athletic and made 59 appearances in two seasons, then joined Guiseley in June 2024 and was a first team regular for two seasons before his release in June 2026.

In July 2026 Joe signed for North East Counties League side Barton Town, slotting straight into the Swans’ first team.

Midfielder who was a junior at Kilkenny United in Ireland prior to joining the Hull City academy in 2008. He left the Tigers in July 2012, in November 2012 he joined Alfreton Town before returning to Ireland in August 2013, signing for Drogheda United where he made 36 appearances. Gavan then made 53 appearances for Cork City (where he was unused substitute for both the 2015 and 2016 FAI Cup finals), 33 appearances for Galway United and 35 appearances for Waterford. In February 2019 he returned to England and signed for Hartlepool United, where he made 104 appearances and helped the club return to the Football League in May 2021. In March 2022 he joined Grimsby Town and within weeks won his second promotion from the National League to League Two in consecutive seasons. After 107 appearances for Grimsby, Gavan joined Crawley Town in July 2024 where he made 41 appearances. In January 2026 he returned to Hartlepool United and added a further 6 appearances.

Holohan currently plays for National League side Boston United, a club he joined in May 2026.

Norwich-born goalkeeper bought experience to the City bench in February and March 2008 during a two month loan spell, filling in while Matt Duke had testicle surgery. Tyler began his career at Peterborough United, making his senior debut in September 1994 after winning England honours at Under-17 and Under-20 levels - he had compiled 484 appearances for Posh when he came to Hull City. He moved to Luton Town in June 2009 and had seven seasons at Kenilworth Road, making 297 appearances and helping the side return to the Football League in May 2014. He returned to Peterborough in March 2016 and became a goalkeeping coach, only hanging up his gloves in May 2021 when aged 44.

Midfielder released by Middlesbrough in September 1982 and had an extended trial at Hull City. He went on to join Hartlepool United in January 1983 where he spent two seasons, making 39 appearances. He joined Whitby Town in the summer of 1984.

Hull-born wing half was called up from the Tigers' Reserves for one League fixture in the 1968/69 season. He went on to serve Grimsby Town, Hartlepool United (where he made 176 senior appearances), Scarborough and Bridlington Trinity during the 1970s.
