Biography
West Ham youngster Noble spent a month on loan at Hull City in February 2006 as an 18 year old prospect. Alas his form was hampered by a bad back and he quickly returned to Upton Park.
A local boy born in Canning Town, Noble spent his whole career with the Hammers, making his first team debut in August 2004, a year and half before his City loan spell. He was team captain at West Ham United for several seasons and in 2015 he became the record appearance maker in the Premier League. He played in successful play-off finals and led the playing side of the club through the switch from Upton Park to the London Stadium. In May 2022 his nineteen year playing career with the Hammers came to a close, in January 2023 he returned to West Ham United when he was appointed Sporting Director.
Between 2002 and 2009 Noble won England caps at under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels. He won 20 caps for the Under-21s but despite often being regarded as a potential candidate, he never made a full senior appearance for his country.
