Biography

Young striker Tucker was borin in Pontefract and joined the City YTS programme in 1997 and by January 1998 he was introduced into the first team squad by boss Mark Hateley after an injury crisis. After a few substitute appearances and one start Dexter returned to the juniors to learn his craft, but in two subsequent years he never again attracted the attention of the first team and left the club. After a short spell at Gainsborough Trinity and a longer period at Selby Town he drifted out of the game.
