Biography

Youth team product Annan made his City debut in a League Cup tie at Doncaster Rovers in August 2017, three months after signing his first professional contract. He made a short term loan move to Tadcaster Albion in March 2018 and left the Tigers that May, signing for up and coming non-Leaguers Scarborough Athletic.
By March 2019 he had left the Seadogs and returned to Tadcaster, moving on to North Ferriby United in February 2020. He left the Villagers in July 2020 and joined Bridlington Town. After two seasons on the Yorkshire coast he switched to Northern Premier League side Cleethorpes Town in July 2022, where he played regularly and scored 18 goals in two seasons. In the 2024/25 season Annan netted nine goals as Cleethorpes Town won the Northern Premier League East title at a canter. That form attracted the attention of former club Bridlington Town, another Northern Premier League side, who signed Annan in June 2025.
Annan won a single under-19 cap for Scotland in 2014.
