Biography

Defender Wilson joined City at the age of 17, spotted by City’s Northern Ireland scouting network.  He made his debut in a FA Cup tie against Leyton Orient, but did not return to the first team again.

On leaving the Tigers WIlson returned to Northern Ireland and signed for Premiership side Dungannon Swifts, where he became an established first team fixture. After 7 years and nearly 200 appearances for Dungannon, Wilson joined Ballymena United in March 2021, in June 2023 he switched to NIFL rivals Portadown.

Wilson was capped by Northern Ireland at junior levels ranging from under-17 to under-21.
