Biography

Full back Scott Wiseman came through the City junior ranks in the early 2000s and made his debut in April 2004 at 18 years old, replacing Lee Marshall after he broke his leg. Scott made a handful of appearances in 2004/05 as City swept through League One, turn had a small run in the first team in City’s return to the Championship in 2005/06. After spending all of 2006/07 on loan at Rotherham and Darlington, Wiseman left City in May 2007.

An unsuccessful season at Darlington came and went, before a three year spell at Rochdale saw Wiseman establish himself as a first team regular. In 2018 Wiseman dropped temporarily into the Conference and joined moneyed promotion hopefuls Salford City, with whom he won promotion to League 2 in his first season. In his last six months at Lincoln Red Imps Wiseman began coaching the Gibraltar Under-16 national side, in May 2023 he hung up his boots and was appointed Womens’ Football Development Manager at the Gibraltar Football Association, also serving briefly as Interim Manager during the latter part of 2023.
