Biography

Left half Yorke joined the Tigers in 1935, but his appearances were fleeting and he left the club in 1937.

Yorke joined Ayr United as a teenager and after a short spell at Aldershot he returned north for a successful season with Dundee United.

After leaving City Yorke had further seasons at Dundee United and Montrose before retirement. He served in the Royal Artillery during World War Two and died in 2004.
