Biography

Goalkeeper Ingram joined City in June 2019 on a three year deal from Queens Park Rangers, deputising for George Long and making his debut impressively in the League Cup at Tranmere. He continued to be used as Cup goalkeeper and deputised for Long once during the club’s end of the season slump. At the start of the 2020/21 League One season Ingram was preferred as first choice goalkeeper in Long’s absence.
Ingram was born in High Wycombe and his career began at his local club. He came to prominence as a teenager, making his first team debut during loan spells, debuting for Wycombe at 20 and training with England representative sides. In 2014/15 Ingram was recognised as the best ranked goalkeeper in League 2. Ingram signed for Queens Park Rangers in January 2016 and while his first team chances were limited for the Rs, he continued to build his reputation with a loan spell at Northampton Town.
