Biography

Charlesworth was a backup striker for two seasons in the early 1920s, scoring his share of goals when given occasional chances to play for the Tigers.
Born in Morley, Charlesworth signed for City in 1918 on cessation of WW1 hostilities, making his debut a year later. He went on to play several seasons in the Yorkshire football scene before settling in Cottingham, passing away in 1966.
