Biography
Youth team product Barkworth made his City debut in a League Cup tie at Doncaster Rovers in August 2017. He made a short term loan move to Tadcaster Albion in March 2018, left the Tigers the following May and returned to Tadcaster permanently in July 2018, moving to Scarborough Athletic and Barton Town over the next two years. He joined Bridlington Town at the start of the 2020/21 season and stayed on the east coast for several seasons. In July 2024 he joined Northern Counties East League side Barton Town.
