Biography

Inside left John Edward Moore was born in Gateshead and played junior football for Annfield Plain and Hebburn Colliery before signing for the Tigers in April 1934. He made his debut at the start of the 1934/35 season, starting the first four games before falling out of contention and making only one more appearance two months later. He signed for Gateshead FC in June 1935 where he scored a few goals.
