Biography

David Leslie Robson was born in North Yorkshire, after a teenage spell at Heart of Midlothian he came through the academy system at Hull City and signed his first professional contract in December 2019. He was an unused substitute on several occasions between 2020 and 2022 after enjoying loan spells at East Yorkshire Carnegie, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Tadcaster Albion and Gainsborough Trinity. In March 2022 he had a further loan spell at National League North side Farsley Celtic.

David made his senior City debut in an August 2022 League Cup tie at Bradford City, within two weeks he had joined League 2 side Crawley Town on an experience-building half-season loan.

Robson made his international debut for Wales at under-17 level in 2018 when he started in a 2-2 Euros qualifier against Belarus, having previously played for Wales at schoolboy level. In September 2022 he received his first call-up to the Wales Under-21 squad and made his debut against Austria’s Under-21 side.
