Biography
Forward Will Jarvis was born in York and came through the Hull City academy system, making his first team debut in an August 2021 League Cup tie against Wigan Athletic. He made his League debut a week later against Derby County.
In January 2022 he was loaned to Conference North side York City where he made two appearances for the Minstermen. Jarvis returned briefly to the Tigers then in March 2022 he embarked on another loan move to Northern Premier League side Scarborough Athletic that kept him on the East Coast until the end of the season.
Retained by the Tigers for the 2022/23 season, in August 2022 Jarvis returned to Scarborough Athletic for a one month loan, scoring one goal in 5 appearances and showing excellent form that elevated him to place on the first team bench in October 2022, coming on as a substitute against Birmingham City.
After impressing during the 2023/24 pre-season, in July 2023 Will joined Dublin-based League of Ireland side Shelbourne on a five month loan. He made his debut for Shels against Cork City at the end of July and showed form that encouraged his parent club to offer him a contract extension in August 2023. When he returned to Hull in November 2023 at the end of the Irish League season, he had scored two goals in 12 appearances. After two months back with the Tigers in January 2024 he agreed to rejoin Shelbourne on loan for the 2024 season and scored an impressive nine goals in 30 appearances for the Irish League leaders.
This form prompted his recall to the Tigers first team squad in August 2024, ahead of the 2024/25 season, and he made an impressive cameo appearance off the bench on the first day of the season against Bristol City.
