Tossed away by the Leeds Juniors due to his firebrand temperament, Stoker showed his credentials when he was red-carded on his City debut.  After a good start he faded badly in black and amber.  Gareth reappeared a couple of years later in the West Country and developed an excellent reputation as a tough tackling midfield dynamo.  The had spells at Rochdale and Scarborough, before signing for Forest Green back down Hereford way in the summer of 2003.
