Floppy haired Ajax-schooled midfield playmaker snapped up by Little, who managed the Dutchman at WBA, after he was released by hoof-and-hope outfit Stockport County.  Richard brought skill and passing to the City midfield, however his unwillingness to move nearer to Hull was his downfall when Jan Molby took the City reigns, despite them sharing the same Ajax footballing pedigree.
