When signed by Terry Dolan, Mike Quigley was something of a coup, coming from the fringes of the First Division to Boothferry Park.  Alas, a bad injury at Rotherham early in his City career set him back, he never really established himself in the first team on his return, and was eventually released by Mark Hateley.  After a spell in non-League football and some scouting for Warren Joyce - Quigley is credited with unearthing Andy Oakes - Mike returned to Boothferry Park for a season on non-contract terms.
