Fleet-of-foot right sided midfielder and striker signed by Peter Taylor in the summer of 2003 to add speed and presence to the right flank of the city side.  Welshman Price spent several seasons at the Vetch before venturing north to the Wirral.  His first season at the KC was explosive with many men beaten for pace and trickery, many delicious crosses swung in and a fair few goals scored, including a rather jammy hat-trick against Doncaster.  His second season was less spectacular as a poor pre-season - a summer injury was allegedly exacerbated by Price choosing a beach holiday to fitness training - led to him having a role of regular substitute.  Nevertheless he stuck it out and earned another year on his contract and a crack at Championship left backs.  This duty he performed with occasional success before in January 2006 the lure of a long term contract drew him to Doncaster Rovers.  At Doncaster he played a role in their elevation to Championship status the day after City's play-off Wembley win but was soon moved back into League One pastures with Millwall.  He spent a season at the New Den, mainly on loan, before returning north to Carlisle in June 2010.
