Giant striker, latterly a left winger, whose physical frame made him an unlikely footballer.  After setting sail from the modest confines of Thackley FC, a run of goals in the successful mid 80s Bradford team led to Ormondroyd joining Villa under manager Graham Taylor, whose expectation of signing a 25 goals a season man were woefully unsupported.  Still, he scored a few when loaned to City as his twilight years approached.
Now the Community Scheme Organiser for his home town club, Bradford City.
