A former charge of Peter Taylor when manager at Leicester, tall midfielder Marshall commanded £500,000 plus fees for both of his moves from Norwich to Leicester to West Brom - all of this after Norwich spotted the talent of the youngster playing for Enfield.  At The Hawthorns Lee fell out of favour, allegedly due to a lax interpretation of training start times.
After a year or more out in the cold training with the Baggie juniors, Marshall came to the KC for a month in an attempt to resurrect his career.  He was beginning to show comfort in the right back role when a full blooded Kidderminster tackle in April 2004 left Lee with a compound double leg fracture, a year out of the game and a premature end to his City career.
