After a long spell at Blackburn, former Aston Villa youngster David Mail came to City as an experienced and skilful centre back.  He gave five seasons' good service to the Tigers without really setting the world alight.  That said he was a part of the leaky City defence that tumbled down the Leagues in the mid 90s.  So perhaps he wasn't so hot after all ....
Stayed in the Hull area after his career finished and now manages West Hull Rangers Under-15s.
