Only 12 days after signing for Leeds from relegated Millwall, Livermore joined the Tigers to add strong running and creativity to the left side of the City midfield.  His first season was punctuated by injury but he contributed powerful displays in midfield and some important goals.  He was a fringe player in his second season before City shipped him off on loan to Oldham to avoid him reaching 25 appearances and activating a clause in his contract to extend his contract for a further year.
After a couple of unsuccessful seasons at Brighton and Barnet, Livermore was the surprise choice at the age of 30 to take the manager's position at Cambridgeshire-based Conference side Histon.
