 Irish born international left wing flyer Hunt was a boyhood hurler that began his professional football career at Crystal Palace, but he failed to make much of an impression on the first team.  He successfully toured the lower league circuit with Brentford before signing for Reading as they commenced their ascent to the Premier League.  Once in the top division Hunt performed consistently and memorably clobbered seven shades of shite out of Chelsea goalie Petr Cech in an unfortunate coming together of knee-cap and skull.  As Reading slipped out of the top flight and failed to secure an immediate return, City swooped to retain Hunt's services and he repaid the favour immediately, scoring the first goal of the entire 2009-10 Premier League season at Stamford Bridge.  One season was all the Tigers saw of the mercurial bogtrotter though, as City's relegation encouraged him to move to Wolves in June 2010.
