HCSS Tipsters Tournament - every season HCSS members are invited to predict the top and bottom clubs in each senior English division at the end of that season. Points are awarded for accuracy (10 if your top prediction finishes first or your bottom prediction finishes last, 6 if your selection finishes one position off predicted, 4 for two positions off, 3, 2 and 1). Negative points are awarded for spectacular inaccuracy - so if your selection for top slot actually finishes bottom of the league that season, you get minus 10 points, minus 6 if the selection finishes next to bottom, etc, etc.
The window for selections closes at the end of August every season, so a small slice of early season form can be taken into account when selecting - be aware though, this early season has proved rather misleading on occasion. And remember - if you predict Hull City to finish top of the league, reflect that in your answer for City's points total tiebreak guess.
Updates on the latest progress are posted here 2-3 times a season.
