HCSS Constitution - HCSS has adopted a new constitution to guide the work of the committee and provide information to members about how the organisation works.

On Thursday 10th December 2009 an Emergency General Meeting open to all HCSS members considered the first draft of a constitution for the association.  The adoption of a constitution is important in order to formalise the rules and regulations that govern the work of the committee on behalf of the members.  Having a consitution also provides a framework for committee members to follow should problems arise in the future.

A four week period of consultation closed at the end of February.  Subject to any alterations that have arisen from this consultation period, the constitution will now be considered for formal adoption by the HCSS committee at its next formal meeting.
