Comment
Halmosi was born in Hungary near the Austrian border and played for his home town club Haladas and nearby Austrian side Graz before joining Debrecen.  In Summer 2006 he signed for Plymouth Argyle, initially on loan but soon made permanent, and established a good reputation for penetrative left sided wing play in two Championship seasons.  Halmosi has also accrued 12 caps for Hungary, all of which encouraged Phil Brown to part with £2 million and a four year contract for his services in the build up to City's Premier League debut.  But his first season saw Peter disappoint with a string of anonymous performances, just the occasional flash when introduced as substitute suggesting that he can make a name for himself in the Premier League.  The malaise continued in his second season and in January 2010 he was loaned to the rarely fabled but ambitious Hungarian side Szombathelyi Haladas.
