Pepe Goodison was a composed defender and midfielder of the highest pedigree.  With numerous international appearances for Jamaica and a 1998 World Cup captaincy under his belt, Ian was undoubtedly a gifted footballer, although on occasions the frantic pace of the Division Three thunder storm caught him out.  Overall, a class act.
After a couple of years out of the game and back in Jamaica, after the odd trial here and there with league clubs, Pepe was reunited with Brian Little at Tranmere.
