Highly rated goalscorer with a fine lower league pedigree to go with his early years at Auxerre and Leeds.  Diminutive and pacy, Jamie has a genuine eye for goal and it was hoped that he would spearhead Peter Taylor's rise up the league table.  Alas he never quite produced the form to match his undoubted talents and he was kept out of the first eleven by the form of Allsopp and Burgess.  Despite weighing in with some important goals from the substitutes' bench, he decided to move on to Bristol Rovers in June 2004.  Two years later he returned north to Lincoln - a two year spell for Lincoln City and a season at Notts County were followed by the inevitable drop into the non-Leagues with Lincoln United and Lincoln Moorlands Railway.  This last spell was short lived and Forrester now leads a football academy business in Lincolnshire.
