Local boy made good, Andy entered the fray in the difficult early 80s.  But as City's fortunes rose under Don Robinson so did Andy's and he contributed a decent return of goals over a five season spell where he never quite attained the status of first team regular.  He then went on to enjoy a splendid goalscoring record at Scunthorpe and Rochdale before playing his later years at North Ferriby United.
