Continuing Nigel Pearson's attempt to assemble the Manchester United reserve side at the KC, Evans followed Cameron Stewart and James Chester to City in a loan move that is testament to the close working relationship between the two clubs.  Evans, younger brother of United's Jonny, is a defender and midfielder already blooded in the Northern Ireland international team (he scored his debut goal in September 2010 against Solvenia) who comes to Hull to add competition in central midfield and garner first team experience.
Evans made an immediate impact with the Tigers and contribute neat passing and goals to the City midfield - enough for Nigel Pearson to offer a permanent contract in May 2011.  And he carved a regular place in midfield during his first full season with the club.
