Combative left back Edge joined City in July 2004 to provide cover for Andy Dawson, after a career mainly spent at Gillingham and then a season at Hibernian.  Performed a useful role with a particular focus on away games thanks to his mainly defensive approach.  Was released in January 2006 after suffering an injury that would not clear up before his contract expired that Summer.

May 2008 - joined Maidstone United
June 2010 - joined Folkestone Invicta as player coach
