The tentacles of the Hull City scouting network have no limits. A classy defender once on the books of Deportivo La Coruna, Antonio was signed up after coming to Hull to study English and impressing in a pre-season friendly - it is alleged that City played Doncel unregistered in a friendly, and were therefore obliged to sign him up to cover the error.
