Experienced midfielder snapped up at the end of his Scunthorpe contract.  David turned in some solid performances for the Tigers and, despite the odd lapse in form, proved to be an excellent acquisition and a valuable inheritance from the Hateley era.
Was sold to Chesterfield for £50,000 at the end of a successful run in the first team, ostensibly to trim the growing wage bill.  Has since endured several injuries and resumed his non-league career in Wales.
