A youth team goal scoring sensation, flame haired Cullen was given a debut substitute appearance at Wigan in the Cup in January 2010 then made his first start in City's final away game of the season - again at Wigan - and contributed a fine goal on debut.  Cullen is a diminutive but exciting goalscoring prospect who made a number of starts and substitute appearances in early stages of the Tigers' return to the Championship, including a goal in the League cup at Brentford. But the signings of Matty Fryatt and Aaron McLean allowed City to build the youngster's career more moderately and shortly after signing a new professional deal in January 2011, he was loaned to Peter Taylor's Bradford City to gain experience.  The following season he made a similar move to Bury, without success.
