The only son of Linda and Tony, Linton brought lightning pace but questionable finishing to the City attack.  An excellent foil for Dean Windass, Linton had two fine seasons before problems on and off the field saw him lose form.  His sale to Swansea, managed by the ludicrous Jan Molby, was a Dolan masterstroke.
