Lanky forward taken on loan from Fulham to fill the striking gap left by Colin Alcide's departure.  Found wanting.  Briefly found favour in Jean Tigana's Premiership squad before moving north to Oakwell where he got a game in midfield for two seasons.  Joined Hartlepool on the eve of the 2004-05 season before moving on to Oldham Athletic a month later and scoring on his Latics debut - against Hartlepool!  Two good seasons at Wycombe encouraged Bristol City to pay £150,000 for Betsy's services in January 2007 but he was loaned out regularly once the Bristolians were elevated to Championship status and in 2008 he joined League One side Southend United.  Rejoined Wycombe in January 2010 after a lengthy loan spell.
