Comment
Young goalkeeper who signed professional forms at the start of 1998-99 season, then proceeded to damage his knee ligaments at a time when he was on the verge of a first team berth.  Filled in a couple of times as sub, once memorably at Anfield, before leaving at the 2000 Brian Little sale.  Proceeded to carve out an excellent reputation as the best goalie in the Conference, which eventually led him back to the Football League with Wrexham in July 2004 on a one year contract.
After 5 months at Wrexham, and with the club in administration, Baker moved on to Milton Keynes Dons to try and secure his long term future.
December 2006 - joined Conference side Weymouth.
March 2007 - loaned to Rushden & Diamonds.

Baker retired in 2007 due to a knee injury and now works as a journalist for the MK Dons website.
