 Woo!  You da man!!  Josmer Altidore was born in New Jersey to Haitian parents and cut his teeth in the Major Soccer League before moving to Spain's Villareal at the age of 18 in a £5m deal.  He only appeared irregularly for Villareal and subsequent loan side Xerez, so it is with something to prove that the young man came to Hull on a year's loan with the deal already secured for his subsequent transfer should that suit the Tigers.  But it didn't go as planned - Jozy was a powerful forward presence but couldn't score for toffee, and his career was ended abruptly when he headbutted Alan Hutton in the relegation must-win clash with Sunderland at the end of April 2010.
His emerging international career is very promising, having already contributed a hattrick against crack duo Trinidad and Tobago.
