959 Danny East

Biography

Defender East came through the ranks at Hull City and made his debut in the League Cup at the age of 19.  Danny soon lost his way at City and was loaned out to the lower leagues before his release in 2013.

East moved to Portsmouth in May 2013 to reunite with his former Tigers’ teammate Sonny Bradley.  He stayed at the South Coast for two seasons but struggled to hold down a regular place in the Pompey first team.  In 2015 he switched to Grimsby Town where he finally carved out a first team place, but was released after only one season and moved to National League Guiseley, stepping into the illustrious shoes of another ex-Tiger, Simon Trevitt.  He moved to Bradford Park Avenue in 2018 then evetually arrived at North Ferriby United, a tale as old as time for ex-Tigers, in 2020 after a spell at Alfreton Town.
